BRANSTON DWELLING

The original house was is a semi detached two storey dwelling. The brief was to completely modernise the property, make it more energy efficient, create an open plan living feel on the ground floor. The contemporary extension to the rear and side connect the existing house to the garden. The change in level externally is addressed with a decked terracing. The landscape design and new extensions are clad using Ecoscape, a recycled composite material. Internally the use of timber through to pick up key features such as the stair, the window seat and shelving in sweet chestnut combined by a simple natural pallet achieve a contemporary lux interior.
